Who we are
Leila K's Hair Salon, 22 Front Street, Winlaton, Blaydon NE21 6AB (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal information described here. Questions or requests: 0191 414 1028.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and mobile number when you book or create an account.
- Your appointments: services, stylist, dates, times, prices, notes you add, and whether a deposit was paid.
- If you choose “Continue with Google”: your name and email address from Google. We do not receive your Google password or anything else from your Google account.
- Notes our team adds to help with your hair (for example colour formulas or allergies you tell us about).
How we use it
- To take, confirm, change and remind you about appointments, and to contact you about them.
- To take deposits where a service needs one.
- To let you sign in and see your bookings.
We use it because it is needed to provide the appointment you asked for, and for our legitimate interest in running the salon. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who helps us
We share only what is needed with trusted providers who process it on our behalf:
- Render — hosts this website and its database (EU, Frankfurt).
- Stripe — processes card deposits. We never see or store your full card number.
- Resend — sends booking emails.
- Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.
How long we keep it
We keep your booking history while you are a client so we can look after your hair, and for up to 6 years after your last visit for accounting purposes, then delete it. You can ask us to delete your account sooner.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it, by contacting us at 0191 414 1028. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
We only use cookies that are needed for the site to work — to keep you signed in and to remember your place while booking. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
